Intention and Intensity

What brings you closest to the skin?

I ask myself, in a multimodal language that is only understood in the most absurd corners of the mind. It is the background of the flesh, something that no journey or object can deliver. That curiosity, sometimes satisfied, that emanates from every word of one who draws near seeking to approach in every possible way that depth that has always inhabited them.

I knew the texture of your skin, the tone of your eyes, the intensity of your gaze in different circumstances: when you loved me, without saying it, and desired me; when you hated me, letting it show, and took refuge in distance.

It all came down to a fire whose origin was not tangible but burned through your veins.

To understand each other we don't need to speak the same language

It is enough to have experienced something that, even with different perspectives, creates an intersection between our orientations, only then do we manage to see ourselves reflected in the other and thus spontaneously suppose that a soul inhabits the body of that mirror. Then we assume we can traverse its depth, without rush, and perhaps, deep down, plant a seed that, without violence, adds life to the trajectory of what is foreign.

We assimilate coincidences before they formalize, because the mind is predisposed to surrender, to stop fighting against any kind of superficiality, to completely omit the particulars of the setting and those inert questions that may arise when nothing is desired anymore: the mark, the place, the city, the price. And it focuses on what may be more important for shaping that memory: the intention of a photo, the length of the fingers, the color of the nails, and the authentic desire to establish communication when no other medium is effective enough.

The spontaneity of intention

It lays the foundation of interaction and transforms us with it into the wildest orgasm or the most undesirable nightmare. But, what else can the body give itself to?, when the mind reconciles the sum of all its remaining echoes in someone who delays their transience a little to stay.

Put another way:

  • Everything that can happen subsists in the first seconds, as if it were a supernova.
  • Everything that is condemned to die... can be appreciated through the flow of conversation: the clothes, the silence, the faith, the commitments, the promises, the closeness, the empty spaces.
  • Words are seeds for the soul and will likewise end up blooming in the body: When listening, everything you seek to convey will end up forging the same desire that will later find a way to make its way through the skin.
  • Those who yearn for it stay, beyond those who need it: what you truly want, you do.
  • Caresses are the late figure of everything that has been contemplated beforehand: what you place on another's skin is the sum of everything that has been allowed in the depth.
